Disappointment 1

I have some “lost years,” because of deaths and raising small children. Because of that, I felt that I hadn’t achieved as much as I thought I would have by that age. Both medals say, “I expected more of myself by now.”

Disappointment 1 has a bronze medal made from a mold of a bunch of actual medals that I won in junior high and high school, as if to say, “from such promise, what?”

Disappointment 2 is a variation on that theme and talks about how I felt at the time, that all I had done was have babies.

Once these pieces were done, I released those thoughts and moved on.
