“I started seeing it as a rest instead of a slump,” said a podcast guest on the Get Paid Podcast (which you should totally listen to). She added that that idea made it finite and also made it seem more positive.
I loved that so much I stopped whatever I was doing and wrote it down in my phone. As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been in a phase of, ahem, rest, after an incredibly productive few years of making art and showing art.
