This summer, I had the wonderful experience of being part of the 20 Neighborhoods Project, run by Woman Made Gallery in Chicago. I was paired with CASL, the Chinese American Service League. I wrote a bit about that this summer on the Woman Made blog, you can read that here.
The show opened, with work from participants from all over Chicago, which is truly a city of neighborhoods. It was a wonderful event, so much excitement on the part of the participants and teaching artists. I have a little piece in the show, but it’s realy not about me, it’s about the participants.
